During the novitiate, it is something like rowing a boat, then on becoming an apostle, one sets out to the sea and the sails have to be unfurled, because it is now a boat magnificently laden. So the apostles are still in the world but not of the world.

Pendant le noviciat, c’est comme une barque qui va un peu à la rame, puis, en devenant apôtre, on avance en mer, et il y a à tendre la voile, parce que c’est désormais un vaisseau à magnifique chargement. Alors les apôtres sont encore dans le monde, mais ne sont pas du monde.

Foundation of the mission of Brazzaville by Pères Prosper Augouard, Georges Schmitt and Frère Savinien Weckmann. Five years later, work is begun on the cathedral. Rome July, 1927: Following the condemnation of the ideas of Action Fran"aise by Pius XI, Père Henri Le Floch is withdrawn as Rector of the French Seminary in re-sponse to a personal request by the Pope.

By July 1967, the group has become a District and Fr John Jordan has succeeded in getting nine contiguous parishes in the dioceses of Mar’lia, Presidente Prudente and Lins. These parishes are seen as feeders for the new seminary opened in Adamantina for aspirants to our Congregation.

The remains of François Libermann are transferred from the grounds of Chevilly to the chapel of rue Lhomond.
Des jeunes (des Églises de l’Hémisphère Sud), également en nombre croissant, portent leur choix sur notre Institut. Consciente de la nouveauté, la Congrégation a voulu élargir son espace d’accueil afin d’offrir à ces jeunes de différents continents toutes leurs chances de trouver leur place et de croître dans la famille spiritaine selon leur originalité. Cet espace d’accueil a reçu l’appellation de FONDATION. “A vin nouveau, outres neuves” (Mat. 9,17)

Fondation de la mission de Brazzaville (PP. Augouard & Georges Schmitt, Fr Savinien Weckmann); cinq ans plus tard, début de la construction de la Cathédrale.

Suite à la condamnation de l'Action Française par Pie XI, le P. Henri Le Floch, recteur du Séminaire Français depuis 1904, doit se retirer à la demande du Pape en personne.
1967 Brésil Sud Ouest
En juillet 1967, le groupe est devenu District et le P. John Jordan , a reçu 9 paroisses contiguës dans le diocèse de Marilia, Presidente Prudente et Lins. Ces paroisses sont des ressources pour le nouveau séminaire ouvert à Adamantina pour les candidats à la Congrégation.

Le corps du P. Libermann est transféré de Chevilly à la rue Lhomond.
Jovens (das Igrejas do Hemisfério Sul), também em número crescente, escolhem o nosso Instituto. Consciente da novidade, a Congregação quis alargar o seu espaço de acolhimento a fim de oferecer a estes jovens de diferentes continentes todas as oportunidades de encontrar o seu lugar e de crescer na família espiritana segundo a sua originalidade. Este espaço de acolhimento chamou-se FUNDAÇÃO. “Para vinho novo, odres novos” (Mat.9, 17).

A seguir à condenação do movimento das ideias da Acção Francesa por Pio XI, o padre Henri Le Floch, reitor do Seminário Francês desde 1904, deve retirar-se a pedido do próprio Papa.
1967 Brasil Sudoeste
De Julho de 1967 o grupo tornou-se um Distrito e por esta época o P. John Jordan tomou conta de nove paróquias contíguas nas dioceses de Marília, Presidente Prudente e Lins. Estas paróquias foram vistas como meio de sustentação para o novo seminário aberto em Adamantina para os aspirantes à C.S.Sp.
