If we had powerful means at hand, we would not accomplish much good. Now that we are nothing, that we have nothing and are worth nothing, we can form great projects, because or hopes are not founded on ourselves but on him who is all powerful.

Se tivéssemos nas mãos meios poderosos, não faríamos grande coisa de bom. Mas como não somos nada, não possuímos nada e não valemos nada, podemos formar grandes projetos, porque as esperanças não estão fundadas em nós mas naquele que é todo poderoso.

View AllAfter an attentive study of the document, the Congregation for Religious and Secular Institutes recognises that this Rule of Life commits Spiritans to respond to the needs of evangelisation in their time, in living fidelity to the charisms of their founders, Claude Poullart des Places and François Libermann. The preaching of the Good News, the practice of the evangelical counsels and life in fraternal and praying community are the three essential elements that give their apostolic life both its basis and unity. They participate in the Church's mission, according to their proper vocation, by evangelising the poor, going more especially to those who have not yet heard the Gospel message and to those whose needs are greatest.

Après un examen attentif ~, la Congrégation pour les Religieux et les Instituts séculiers reconnaît que cette “Règle de vie” engage les Spiritains à répondre aux besoins d’évangélisation de leur temps dans une fidélité vivante aux charismes des Fondateurs, Claude Poullart des Places et François Libermann. L’annonce de la Bonne Nouvelle, la pratique des conseils évangéliques, la vie en communauté fraternelle et priante sont les trois dimensions essentielles qui fondent et unifient leur vie apostolique.

Após um exame cuidadoso..., a Congregação para os Institutos Religiosos e os Institutos Seculares reconheceu que esta “Regra de Vida” leva os espiritanos a responder às necessidades de evangelização do seu tempo, com uma viva fidelidade aos carismas dos Fundadores, Cláudio Poullart des Places e Francisco Libermann. O anúncio da Boa Nova, a prática dos conselhos evangélicos, a vida em comunidade fraterna e orante são as três dimensões essenciais que fundamentam e dão unidade à sua vida apostólica.
