On this day
We must bend and be very flexible to lead souls, following the different states, directing them continuously, taking all forms and all ways that suit them, in order to support and encourage them always, according to their different states. This is what Saint Paul calls “making oneself all things to all people”.

Il faut plier et être bien souple pour la conduite des âmes, suivre les différents états, les ménager sans cesse, prendre toutes les formes et toutes les manières qui leur conviennent, afin de les porter, de les encourager sans cesse, selon leurs différents états. Para conduzir as almas é preciso ceder e ser muito maleável, seguir os estados diferentes, adaptar-se continuamente a cada uma para as ajudar, animar sem cessar na diferente situação em que se encontram. É o que São Paulo chama « fazer-se tudo para todos ».

1976 Cameroon
A meeting of all African Spiritans at Yaoundé.
1997 Philippines/Taiwan
The 8 members of these two new groups meet in Rome and go to Assisi for a few days reflection with Fr. Bernard Kelly, the 1st Assistant.

Le Conseil général confie à la Province d’Allemagne les Etats de São Paulo, Panama, Santa Catarina et Rio Grande del Sul, avec le projet d’y fonder une nouvelle Province.

Le dimanche 7 décembre 1997: première rencontre, à Assise, des 8 Spiritains affectés au Groupe Philippines-Taiwan, avec le P. Bernard Kelly, 1er Assistant du Supérieur Général. Fondation officielle du Groupe international.
