On this day
How could the heavenly Father, who has planned and settled the least painstaking movement for all eternity, not have determined the words of life and love that his beloved Son was to bring to his dearest children, to make them pleasing in his sight? That is why I believe that we must weigh and meditate every word that Our Lord Jesus Christ has pronounced to instruct and save us.

Comment le Père céleste, qui a prévu et réglé de toute éternité le moindre mouvement de chasse fourmi, n’aurait-il pas déterminé les paroles de vie et d’amour que son Fils bien-aimé devait venir apporter à ses très chers enfants, pour les rendre agréables devant lui ? Voilà pourquoi je crois qu’il faut peser et méditer chaque mot que Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ a prononcé pour nous instruire et nous sauver.

Do mesmo modo que Pai celeste previu e determinou desde toda a eternidade o menor movimento das formigas, não teria Ele determinado as palavras de vida e de amor que o seu Filho bem-amado devia vir trazer aos seus queridos filhos para os tornar agradáveis na sua presença ? É por isso que eu penso que é preciso pesar e meditar cada palavra que Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo pronunciou para nos instruir e nos salvar.

1921 Ireland
The Legion of Mary is founded in Dublin by Mr Frank Duff and Mr Michael Toher, both Blackrock alumni. In 1948, Frank Duff is made an associate member of the Congregation. His cause for beatification has been introduced. One of the outstanding members of the Legion of Mary is Edel Quinn who worked with Irish Spiritans in Kenya and whose cause has also been also introduced.
1923 Cameroon
A junior seminary is opened at Mvolyé with 10 students (4 of whom are eventually ordained). Later, the seminary moves to Nlong and then Akono.
1934 Portugal
The clerical noviciate opens at Quinta de Baixo, Fraião, with 17 novices.
1921 Irlande
Fondation de la Légion de Marie à Dublin, par Mr Frank Duff et Mr Michael Toher tous deux élèves de Blackrock. En 1948, Frank Duff devient membre associé de la Congrégation. Sa cause de béatification a été introduite. Edel Quinn est un des membres le plus notoires de la Légion de Marie ; elle a travaillé avec les Spiritains au Kenya où elle est morte, et sa cause a aussi été introduite.

Ouverture d’un petit séminaire à Mvolyé avec 10 élèves - dont 6 au moins deviendront prêtres- et 4 candidats Frères. Le séminaire ira ensuite à Nlong et enfin à Akono.

Um dos membros excepcionais da Legião de Maria é Edel Quinn que trabalhou no Quénia com os Padres espiritanos Irlandeses e cuja causa também está em andamento.

É aberto um Seminário Menor em Mvolyé com 10 alunos – 6 dos quais pelo menos chegarão a ser padres – e 4 candidatos irmãos. O Seminário irá depois para Nlong e por fim para Akono.
1934 Portugal
Primeira Sexta-feira do mês e véspera da Natividade de Nossa Senhora. Inauguração do Noviciado dos Clérigos, na casa da Quinta, Fraião. O Noviciado abriu com 17 noviços.
