So take courage, be strong and robust in the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are slightly dissipated during this holidays, even if you had made mistakes, do not trouble yourself, the love of our good Lord Jesus is always in your heart, and it will triumph by his holy grace.

Tenha então coragem, seja forte e robusto no amor de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Se estiver um bocado dissipado durantes as férias, mesmo se tiver cometido faltas, não se perturbe, o amor do nosso bom Senhor Jesus está sempre no seu coração, e pela sua santa graça, nele triunfará.

Our works in Europe will concentrate on the poorest classes in France who are in need of help, such as sailors, soldiers, workers in general (still the most neglected), prisoners, beggars, those working in the galleys. Such work is not opposed to the aim or the spirit expressed in the Rule. It is true that in the beginning we did not envisage this sort of thing because it was impossible; God was leading us to the work for the Black People, but at the same time, we felt the need to broaden out a little more, so that the Rule talks of the poor and abandoned in general.

1907 United Kingdom
On 24 December, Castlehead in Grange-over-Sands becomes the first Spiritan property owned by the Congregation in Britain. On 27 December, the community at Prior Park arrives to take up residence in this new home.
1919 United Kingdom
Mgr. Le Roy and the General Council decide to create the Vice-Province of England as from 1 January 1920. Mgr. Le Roy writes to the Irish Provincial, "As for the future Province of England, administrative separation seems to me to be essential and from 1 January, Ireland will have gained a daughter". On 3 November 1921, Fr. John Rimmer, Vice-Provincial and Superior of St. Mary's College, Castlehead, is recognised by the British Government as the official representative of the Congregation in Britain.
1940 Ireland
John Charles McQuaid is ordained Archbishop of Dublin. He thus becomes the first and only Irish Spiritan to serve as a bishop in Ireland.
1997 Central African Foundation
An enlarged council meets at Libreville to discuss the transition of the circumscription to provincial status.
Le fond de nos œuvres européennes serait dans les classes les plus pauvres qui, en France, ont grand besoin de secours, telles que les matelots, les soldats, les ouvriers en général, la classe la plus misérable encore, les galériens, les prisonniers, les mendiants… Ces œuvres ne sont pas opposées au but ni à l’esprit exprimés dans la Règle. Il est vrai que dans les commencements, nous n’y avons pas pensé... Il était impossible que nous y pensions: Dieu nous porta à l’œuvre des Noirs, et cependant nous sentîmes le besoin de généraliser davantage, tellement que la Règle parle en général d’âmes abandonnées et pauvres.

Ce jour, la communauté de Prior Park vient établir sa résidence à Castlehead, à Grange-over-Sands, que la Congrégation vient d’acquérir en Grande Bretagne (24.12.1907)
1919 Royaume-Uni
Mgr Le Roy et le Conseil général prennent la décision -avec effet le 01.01.1920- de créer la Vice-Province Angleterre. Mgr Le Roy écrit au Provincial d’Irlande : « Quand à la future Province d’Angleterre, la séparation administrative me semble essentielle, et à partir du 1° janvier, l’Irlande aura une nouvelle fille. ». Le 03.11.1921, le P. John Rimmer, Vice-Provincial et supérieur de St Mary’s College à Castlehead, est reconnu par le Gouvernement britannique comme le représentant officiel de la Congrégation en Grande Bretagne.

Ordination épiscopale de John Charles McQuaid, archevêque de Dublin. Il est le premier et le seul Spiritain évêque en Irlande même.
1997 Fondation d’Afrique Centrale
Conseil élargi de la Fondation à Libreville, concernant son passage au statut de Province.
As nossas obras europeias teriam a razão de ser nas classes mais pobres que, em França, têm grande necessidade de ajuda, tais com os marinheiros, os soldados, os operários em geral, e a classe mais miserável ainda, os condenados às galés, os presos, os mendigos... Estas obras não se opõem ao fim nem ao espírito expressos na nossa Regra. É verdade que nos começos não tínhamos pensado nisso... Era impossível que nisso pensássemos: Deus levou-nos para a Obra dos Negros, e no entanto sentimos a necessidade de generalizar mais, a tal ponto que a Regra fala em geral de almas abandonadas e pobres.

1907 Inglaterra
Neste dia a comunidade de Prior Park Community’ começa a residir em Castlehead, em Grange-over-Sands, que a Congregação acaba de adquirir na Grã Bretanha (24.12.1907)
1919 Inglaterra
Mgr Le Roy e o Conselho Geral decidiram criar a Vice-Província da Inglaterra, com efeitos a partir de 01 de Janeiro de 1920. Assim escreve Mgr Le Roy ao primeiro Provincial, “Quanto à futura Província de Inglaterra, a separação administrativa parece-me essencial, e a partir de 01 de Janeiro a Irlanda terá uma nova filha”. A 03 de Novembro de 1921, o P. John Rimmer, Vice-Provincial e Superior do Colégio de Santa Maria, em Castlehead, é reconhecido pelo governo britânico como o representante oficial da Congregação na Inglaterra.
1940 Irlanda
O Dr. John Charles McQuaid foi ordenado bispo da Arquidiocese de Dublin. Assim tornou-se o primeiro e único Espiritano Irlandês a ser elevado ao Episcopado na Igreja local.
1997 Fundação da África Central
Conselho Alargado da FAC em Libreville, para passagem à categoria de Província.
