Não procure atrair gente para a nossa santa obra. É a obra de Nosso Senhor e do Coração de Maria, não nos intrometamos demasiado. Eu ficaria bem aborrecido se nos chegasse alguém que não tivesse sido atraído pelo Mestre divino.

It is part of the spirit of priesthood to sacrifice oneself with the victim. Jesus has to be the victim offered by all, and the same Jesus must also be the sacrificing priest in you and through you. Man must disappear and the Son of God take his place. Jesus, who lives in this way in your soul, must make you feel his divine life of sacrifice which is inherent in his priesthood.

1993 Guadeloupe
Opening of the diocesan Synod in the cathedral of Basse-Terre which will last for two years. The closure is in the velodrome of Gourde Liane at Baie-Mahault.
1994 Haiti
With the arrival of the government of Aristide in 1994, the decree of President Duvalier of 1969, giving the College of Saint-Martial to the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince, is revoked.
1995 Australia
There are two Spiritan priests in the Diocese of Geraldton, in Western Australia. Confreres are now located in four of the seven States of Australia.
1997 Philippines/Taiwan
The first member of the new team, Sean O'Leary, arrives in Taiwan. On the same day, the Philippines group arrives in Manilla: Brain McLaughlin, Haroldo Alves, Martin Okafor-Ilozue and Daniel Sormani.
C’est le propre de l’esprit du sacerdoce de sacrifier, avec la Victime divine, celui-là même qui l’offre. Il faut que Jésus soit la victime offerte par vous ; et il faut que le même Seigneur Jésus, qui est victime, soit prêtre sacrificateur en vous et par vous. Il faudrait que l’homme fût effacé et que le Fils de Dieu vécut à sa place. Jésus, vivant ainsi dans votre âme, doit vous faire sentir sa divine vie de sacrifice, qui est inhérente à son sacerdoce.

Deux confrères spiritains prêtres travaillent dans le diocèse de Geralton, ouest Australie. Les Spiritains sont présents dans 4 des 7 Etats australiens.
1997 Philippines/Taiwan
Arrivée à Manille, de la première communauté des quatre spiritains affectés aux Philippines: Brian McLaughlin, Haroldo Alves, Martin Okafor-Ilozue et Daniel Somani. Ils partent aussitôt pour Mindanao suivre un cours de langues pendant 6 mois. A la même date, Seán O’Leary arrivait à Taiwan et se mettait à l’apprentissage du chinois.
É próprio do espírito do sacerdócio sacrificar, com a Vítima Divina, aquele mesmo que a oferece. É preciso que Jesus seja a vítima oferecida por si; é preciso que o mesmo Senhor Jesus, que é vítima, seja padre sacrificador em si e por si. Seria preciso que o homem desaparecesse e que o Filho de Deus vivesse em seu lugar. Jesus, vivendo assim na sua alma, deve fazer-lhe sentir a sua vida divina de sacrifício, que é inerente ao seu sacerdócio.

Chegada a Manila, a 12 12.1997, do primeiro grupo dos quatro espiritanos afectados às Filipinas: Brian McLaughlin, Haroldo Alves, Martin Okafor-Ilozue e Daniel Somani. Partem imediatamente para Mindanao para seguir um curso de línguas durante 6 meses. Na mesma data, Séan O’Leary chegava a Taiwan.
