Foundation of the junior seminary of Landana (Père Duparquet), subsequently transferred to Loango in 1887.

1885 Brazil

Dom Antonio Macedo da Costa, the bishop of Belém, asks the Spiritans to take over the direction of the Junior Seminary of Our Lady of Carmel in Belém.

1919 Switzerland

Père Joseph Villetaz, assisted by Frère Clair, opens the first junior seminary in Switzerland in a small private house in Coméraz, a village in the commune of Grimisuat in the Vallais.

Le Vicariat Apostolique est remis à la Congrégation. Il est composé de la Sierra Leone, du Libéria et de la Guinée. Kobes y est nommé après la mort de Mgr. De Brésillac.

1919 Suisse

Le Père Joseph Villettaz, aidé du Frère Clair, ouvre la première École des Missions en Suisse, dans une petite maison de sa famille, à Coméraz, hameau de la commune de Grimisuat, dans les Alpes valaisannes.
