Fr. John Dimba was born in Mozambique in 1969. During the civil war, like millions of other people, had to flee the country. It was in a refugee camp that he met the spiritans and was attracted by their simple lifestyle and their service to the poor.
Today, he is a spiritan and believes that his experience as a refugee helps him in is mission in a multi-cultural context. After the death of Fr. José Manuel Sabença, in december 2016, he was invited to complete the team of the General Council of the Congregation.
He shares with us a little bit of his life and mission in an interview, in Portuguese.
